Moving out of Halls checklist!
It’s very nearly time to say bye to lots of our residents! Before you head off, be sure to go through our checklist to make sure you’ve done everything you need to before you say farewell…
- Be sure to double check your check out date & time – if you're unsure, just ask your Hall reception
- If you're leaving before your contract departure date, be sure to let your Hall reception know
- Please sign out at reception on departure and leave any keys with the reception team
- Before you leave, give your room and bathroom clean and ensure it is left to a reasonable standard
- Please remove food and personal belongings from your kitchen. Remember, unopened, non-perishable food items e.g. jars, cans, dried pasta can go in the Fareshare Box located in your Hall reception
- Unwanted clothes, shoes, accessories, homeware and more can be donated to the British Heart Foundation box in your reception. Be sure to pop your items in a bag before you donate
- It is your responsibility to remove all of your personal belongings from your room and kitchen area. Left belongings policy can be found here
- Remember that you can grab a trolley from reception to help you move all your items safely (trollies are subject to availability)
- If you are using a trolley, please be mindful of the time spent using a trolley and others who will be checking out on the same day as you
- Need to know more about parking? Speak to your Hall reception for details
- Please remember to change your postal address with family, friends, bank and websites e.g. Amazon as your Hall will not hold post and parcels for departed students - read more here!
Wishing you all safe travels from the Halls Life team!
