The Makers Market

The Makers Market offers artisan food, crafts and music that supports local communities. You can explore everything this Market has to offer in the Royal Albert Dock on the first Sunday of every month as well as the Bombed Out Church on the third Sunday of the month. The Market takes place across the North West so even if you don't manage to get to see it in Liverpool, you never know it might be near your own home!

The Bombed Out Church is just minutes' walk from city campus Halls. To get to the Royal Albert Dock you can walk an extra 15 minutes or so or take the bus from campus. If you're heading into the city centre from Greenbank, you can jump on the 699 or any other bus heading along Smithdown Road.

Lark Lane is famous for its many cafés, boutiques, bars and restaurants - the ultimate place to head if you're looking for somewhere for a nice brunch or cocktail even! As well as all the amazing shops there, you can find the local Farmers Market on the fourth Saturday of the month. With just 10-15 minutes walk from Greenbank Student Village or a short bus away for city campus Halls, it's definitely worth a visit.
