Exploring Liverpool: Baltic Triangle

By hannahk 11 Oct 2023

If you're looking for a morning coffee, afternoon of street art spotting or a night out then the city's Baltic Triangle area has got it all...

The Baltic Triangle is just 5-10 minutes walk from Liverpool One or around 25 minutes from Crown Place or any campus Hall! It's best know for it's small businesses, street art, food & drink.

The creative district was once just abandoned warehouses but thankfully those warehouses have been transformed into Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. You'll see brick walls used as canvases for art that reflect Liverpool's culture and history right through to Camp and Furnace for nightlife, live music, festivals and more.

Lose yourself walking around its quirky streets before heading to...

Red Brick Market

An indoor market packed with independent, local businesses! A more sustainable choice to the high street stores...

Crazy golf

If you're looking for a night out but not in clubs and bars then Golf Fang is the one! It's not your average mini golf course and there's something to see around corner plus you can make the most of discounted student prices!

Coffee!

If you're a coffee lover, then Baltic Triangle has plenty of options for you! The coffee shops are local, independent and are often dog friendly so you might even get to see a local furry friend for your pup fix!

Ukranian Peace Garden

This green space sits in the middle of all hustle and bustle of the city centre! The garden's opening took place when Liverpool hosted Eurovision and has continued to the Ukranian community. It's the perfect space to relax and unwind and even offers giant concrete chess tables if you fancy a go!

Baltic Market

If food markets, stall and pop traders are your thing then you're in luck! Baltic Market is just one of Liverpool's street food markets...

Street art spotting

This has to be one of Liverpool's most graffitied areas! It's known for it's colours and perfect photo opportunities. A picture in front of the Liver bird wings is truly a must...

Camp and Furnace

If nights out with your friends are top of the agenda then take a look at what Camp and Furnace has to offer! The old warehouse has been converted into a space for nightlife & events...

There's no doubt about it that an afternoon spent in the Baltic Triangle is an afternoon well spent! There's something for everyone in the area as there's plenty to see, do, eat and drink here. The area even offers community events such as litter picks and swap shops so keep an eye out on their Instagram page @baltictriangle for more!
