Your first recycling audit of the year is here!
As part of the Sustainable Halls programme, student representatives and staff from the Guild's Sustainability Team will be visiting your kitchens in Halls to audit how well you and your flatmates recycle...
You'll be left a scorecard with advice and tips on how to improve your score at the next audit in March. Flats that score well will be rewarded with Fairtrade chocolates so it's never been a better time to make sure your recycling is all in order!
Auditors will be looking to see how well you separate recyclables and non-recyclables and whether they are in the correct bin. You also will be scored on factors such as, are your recyclables clean and dry?
Recycling Audits will take place on Tuesday 12th November between 9am-5pm
Your flat's score will contribute towards your hall's ranking on the overall leader board for the year long Sustainable Halls competition. So not only does recycling well help reduce your flat's carbon footprint, but also will help you get closer to that end of year prize!

Please note that studios will not be audited. Only bins in shared kitchens in Crown Place, Greenbank, Vine Court, Melville Grove, Tudor Close, Philharmonic Court, Dover Court.
