Thinking about how you'll be travelling to and from campus?

Greenbank Student Village is located in one of Liverpool's most vibrant areas with parks, cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs. It is just 3.5 miles from the University Campus and takes around 20 minutes to get between Greenbank and campus by bus. 

Taking the bus

The 699 Arriva service runs from morning to evening meaning that you'll have a service that fits around your timetable. You can pick up the 699 outside of Greenbank reception and be dropped off at various points on campus depending on where your lecture is.

Purchase your bus pass through the Guild for an exclusively discounted bus pass for the academic year at £67 for 2024/25! This discount applies to students living at Greenbank Student Village only. 

You'll be able to purchase your bus pass in person from the Guild of Students once you arrive in Liverpool. You'll need to head to the Guild shop along with your Digital Student ID card and purchase from there. 

Not only does your pass get you from Greenbank to campus and the city centre, it also allows you to travel on other Arriva buses in Merseyside and the North West. You can also download the handy MerseyTravel Journey Planner to plan your next day trip!

Cycling & Bike Hire

Cycle from Greenbank to campus and see two of Liverpool's most beautiful parks and cycle routes along the way.

If you have a bike then we encourage you to bring it! Greenbank has a secure cycle storage unit and Bikiosk where you can arrange free bike repairs with the Peloton team. You can see all campus cycle storage locations on the Active Campus map.

There'll also be a bike hire scheme where a limited number of bikes will be available to hire for FREE! These bikes are first come, first served but once they're gone, there'll be options to hire bikes for the academic term/year. More details coming soon!

Driving

We have very limited spaces available for students to bring their cars with them to Greenbank. We only recommend you do this if you require it for a specific reason such as placements, a medical requirement or care responsibilities.
