Halls exclusive bike rides are back this Feel Good February and we're wheeelie excited! 🚲
As part of the Sustainable Halls programme, we've teamed up with Peloton to bring you Halls exclusive bike rides open to new and keen cyclists living in Halls. Catch regular bike rides taking place throughout the semester on the Guild's Give it a Go page.
Expect music, lights and a chance to explore all the best cycle routes around the city. Residential Adviser, Ahlam, has hopped on to show you what you need to know! 🎉✨
So, why try a bike ride this semester?
🚲 Hopping onto a Halls bike ride is totally free and open to anyone living in University of Liverpool Halls
📍 You don't need to bring your own bike! Bikes and helmets are provided if you don't have one
🌅 Embrace the lighter evenings as we move out of winter
🚲 Share the experience with residents and meet new people also living in Halls
💜 It's great exercise! Cycling will improve your cardiovascular health and has lots of benefits for your mental health too
🌞 Get to know the city a bit better! Explore Liverpool's parks and waterfronts
🌍 Boost your Hall's Sustainable Halls score! The more rides you attend, the more points your Hall will score in the year long inter-Hall Sustainability competition - help your Hall get closer to that end of year prize!
🏡 Moving into a private house next year? Now is the best time to learn how to cycle with the help of the Peloton team! Cycling is an environmentally friendly and affordable way to get about when living off campus
If you're living at Greenbank Student Village, the Peloton team are running regular bike workshops onsite in Greenbank's very own Bikiosk! Pop into the next workshop to learn more about bike hire, repairs and get advice on your bike too - click here for more details!
