Hop on and get exploring the city by bike this semester...

As part of our Sustainable Halls programme we've teamed up with the Guild and our friends at Peloton to bring you free bike repairs, bike hire and city rides this semester.

FREE Bike Hire from Greenbank 🚲

A limited number of bikes will be on offer to hire for free exclusively for Greenbank students meaning you can get to and from campus in no time. 

Free bike hire will be available from Monday 27th January 2025 onwards. Pop along to the first bike workshop of the semester on 27th January, 8am-2pm in Greenbank's bikiosk to find out more.

As these bikes are limited in numbers, they will be available on a first come, first served basis. Once the limited number of free bikes have been hired, you can chat with the Peloton team to find out your other options for hiring a bike for the semester or year.

Bike Workshop & Repairs 🔧

If your bike is need of some TLC or needs a quick repair to get you back on the road, pop down to the next Bike Workshop at Greenbank's Bikiosk.

The Peloton team will be on hand to not only offer repairs but to give advice and support on Peloton services to get out and about by bike this semester. If you do need a repair, the team will advise you on what parts you’ll need to purchase. The Peloton team will repair them for you for free.  

So whether you're new to the idea of getting around by bike or whether you're a keen cyclist, everyone is welcome! 

Head to Greenbank’s Bikiosk (head to the car park at Derby Hall) on the following workshop dates...

·       Monday 27th January, 8am-2pm

·       Monday 3rd February, 8am-2pm

·       Monday 10th February, 8am-2pm

·       Monday 17th February, 8am-2pm

·       Monday 24th February, 8am-2pm

The workshop will take place every other Monday throughout March-May.

City Bike Rides 🚲

Learn all the best cycle routes and explore Liverpool at its finest with a guided tour from Peloton!

Cycling around the city offers an affordable, quicker and environmentally friendly way to get around as a student. If you're living off campus next year, you can learn all the best cycle routes around the city, how to stay safe on the roads as well as skills like locking up your bike properly.

Crown Place bike rides will start on Wednesday 29th January 2025 and you can book them via the Guild's website for free here. You can bring your own bike or we can provide you with one.
