Our exercise experts at Sport Liverpool have come up with bespoke workouts fit for a Halls bedroom. Both suitable for small spaces and neighbour-friendly, give these workouts a go next time you're looking for a beginner friendly session.
Plus, you don't need to leave your own bedroom!
Before you get going, here's a few tips:
๐ฎ Make sure your room is clear and tidy so you don't trip or fall
๐ง Have a bottle of water handy so you can hydrate after your workout
๐ Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear
๐ Always take a break if needed, do it at your own pace
๐ต Get your workout playlist ready! Use earphones so you don't disturb others

Warm Up ๐ฅ
Never skip the warm up as it'll get your muscles ready for a workout and prevent injury! You'll thank us later...
Upper Body ๐ฆ
Feel the burn with this upper body workout! Try doing 2 rounds (40 seconds exercise with 20 seconds rest). Be sure to take it at your own pace and take a rest wherever you need to.
Lower Body ๐ฅ
No equipment needed for this one either. Be sure to have done the warm up before you get going! Need some workout music to get you ready? Here's one you can try ๐ต
Time to cool down ๐ฆ
Never skip the cool down! You don't want to feel sore and achy tomorrow. Finish off with some static stretching and be sure to keep drinking plenty of water for the rest of the day. Not sure how to cool down? Here's some stretches you can try.
Work out with others โฝ๐๐
These solo home workouts are ideal for squeezing in some exercise when you're in a hurry or building a good base level of fitness. Fancy getting active while meeting other Halls students? Check out the weekly Hall Sport League sessions on Fridays or join the Run for All social running group on Tuesdays at Greenbank Student Village.
