As the semester is well underway, you might be thinking about your housing options for 2026/27.
Rest assured that if you haven't already started your search or are unsure about where you'd like to live, don't worry - there's still plenty of time to find the right place for you!
It was great to see so many of you there at February's Find a Housemate Mixer with Liverpool Student Homes. If you didn't make it though, don't panic! We're sharing everything you need to know about finding housing and people to live with.
⚠️ Be aware of rental fraud ⚠️
No matter what stage of the housing search you're up to, always be mindful of opportunists who might take advantage of those looking for housing.
Rental fraud is when a person is pressured or tricked into paying money for accommodation that doesn't exist. This can happen through social media or online. Don't get caught out in your search! Always:
- Do your search with Liverpool Student Homes so that you know the properties are accredited and approved
- Research accommodation providers thoroughly
- Never feel pressured to sign a contract or give money upfront
- Ask for a tenancy agreement
- View the property before handing over money
- Make sure a link or text is verified before clicking or opening it
