Don't let signing up to your local doctor fall down the to-do list...
We know there's so much to do when you first arrive in Liverpool but registering with your nearest GP (General Practitioner or Doctor) is definitely not one to miss.
Brownlow Student Health is where you'll be able to get help from Doctors and Nurses for free at uni.
✅Sign up as soon as you arrive:
It's best to sign up when you first arrive to Liverpool. The last thing you want to do is wait until you get sick and then have to register. It'll be much quicker to get an appointment if you're already registered.
If you have any medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or if you require medication, do remember to get yourself signed up as soon as you can.
📋How to sign up:
Signing up is easy and takes just a few minutes since Brownlow Student Health is located on campus. You can pop in and register in person or you can register with Brownlow Student Health online by clicking here.
Living in Greenbank? You can reach Brownlow Student Health on campus by hopping on the 699 or if you have your car with you, you could drive to Princes Park practice.
Remember!! Use your Liverpool address when registering (not your home address).
📍How to find Brownlow Student Health:
The practice is located right here on campus (L69 7ZL). Head towards University Square and look for the colourful umbrella's. Walk down this pathway and you'll signage for Brownlow Student Health about half way down, on your left.

💉Are your vaccinations up to date?
Checking that your protection against diseases such as Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Meningitis, Flu are up to date is super important especially while you're at uni and mixing with lots of new people.
If you need to get a vaccine, you can arrange this with the advice from your local GP.
If you're unsure on what vaccine you might need, your local practice should help you with this. If you're a UK students and haven't already, download the NHS app to your phone so that you can access your medical records and see what vaccinations you have already had.
