Get assistance on campus in just a click πŸ“²

Last semester, the University launched a new safety app for anyone on campus. SafeZone is super easy to use, free and means you can get assistance from Campus Support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

πŸ“± If you've not downloaded SafeZone yet, take this as your sign to do so!

While campus is a safe place to be, downloading the SafeZone app means you can get help quick should you ever need it.

Here's how the buttons work on the app:

πŸ”΄ Emergencies - click the red button for immediate assistance

🟒 First Aid - click the green button for medical attention

πŸ”΅ Control Room - click the blue button for non-urgent advice

If you request help via the app, your location will be shared with Campus Supports control room to get you assistance quickly.

Living at Greenbank? Track the 699 🚌

If you're waiting on the 699 to take you home, you can track the next bus via the SafeZone app.

Avoid waiting outside late at night, especially if you're alone. Instead, check when your bus is getting close and head outside when it's just arriving.

Report Something πŸ”

Help keep campus a safe place for all and report any unwanted behaviour. This feature on the app is for non-urgent reports on anything from anti-social behaviour, damage, EDI report & support, suspicious activity and theft.

The University's Campus Support services are here to help you feel safe and reassured on campus. If you're ever feeling vulnerable or are working late at night, their 24/7 chaperone service ο»Ώο»Ώmeans you can be escorted on site. Call 0151 794 3252 to request a chaperone.
