Semester two is in full swing and so you may be thinking about your housing options for 2025/26.
Do you already have your accommodation sorted and need someone to fill a room? Are you looking for new housemates to live with? Or are you just unsure on where to live and what your options are? Whatever your situation may be, you’re in the right place.
Sorting out next year’s housing can be a bit of a worry, we know, but rest assured there’s plenty of time, options and support available to get your perfect home for next year.
Just getting started on your search for accommodation? 🏡
While you’re still getting used to a new city, living with strangers in Halls and staying on top of your studies, we want to make the house finding process as stress-free as possible.
If you are feeling ready to look into your housing options then be sure to do your search through Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) the university’s own private accommodation service. Find your idea home with the peace of mind that it's been approved and accredited by LSH. The team make sure that private providers meet a certain level of criteria so you can feel reassured when it comes to signing that tenancy agreement.
Just starting to think about location, affordability, facilities, contracts and commutes? Check out our Halls Life article for 6 things you might want to consider when finding your next home.

There are other students in the same position as you, so here's how you can connect with them.

Halls or a House: Not sure where to live? đź“Ś
When it comes to next year’s housing, you can either live in either privately rented accommodation (usually a house/apartment share or private Halls) or apply to live in University of Liverpool Halls.
If you’re considering private accommodation such as a rented house or flat, then get started with your search on the Liverpool Student Homes’ website.
Did you know we also house students in their second, third, fourth year? Apply to live in University Halls on Liverpool Life in just minutes through Liverpool Life! It's the same process as you took when applying for Halls this year but you can remind yourself on how to apply here.
We always recommend that you apply for accommodation as possible as it’s allocated on a first come, first served basis. Due to limited availability, the team are no longer accepting applications for returning undergraduate rooms Crown Place. You can, however, apply to live in Dover Court or one of our University Approved partners, Cambridge Court. Click here for Returning Undergraduate Accommodation Fees.
