Student Becca shares her Liverpool Bucket List 🥳

There's so much to see and discover during your time in Liverpool and we don't want you to miss a thing! With the semester well underway, student Becca is sharing her top Liverpool things to see and do for your bucket list.

Cosy Jazz Nights at Petit Café 🎷

Let's start with a bit of night life! If you're more of a relaxed night out kind of person, Petit Café on Berry Street might just be the place for you. Living at Greenbank? Head to Petit Café on Lark Lane instead. Channel your inner Emily in Paris with cosy cute candle lit jazz nights. It's the perfect place to unwind with your flatmates and friends!

Sefton Park's Palm House 🌱

Right next to Greenbank Student Village is Sefton Park's Palm House! It's free to enter and is the perfect spot to soak in all the stunning plants and wander around. It's also a venue for exciting events in the city and has hosted everything from Pilates classes, movie screenings, music & DJ events to choirs and live music.

China Town 🐍

Did you know Liverpool  is home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe? Head to Berry Street to see the Chinese Arch that was donated to Liverpool from Shanghai 25 years ago. It's also the largest Chinese arch outside of China and if you can keep count, you'll see 200 dragons on the design.

Food Market 🍴

Then pop into Renshaw Street's Food Market, just 10-15 minutes away from campus for Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Mexican and Thai food all in one place!

FACT 🎭

Next up is a gallery, cinema, bakeshop and bar just off Bold Street. Exhibitions offer immersive art installations and are often free but always check online first in case you need to book.

If you're looking for more of a cosy cinema experience, you can get student discounted tickets on screenings at FACT! 🎬

Central Library's Picton Room & View Point 📚

The Library's Picton room is truly giving Harry Potter! Step in and explore the space before stepping out onto the roof terrace for views of the city.

World Museum & Aquarium 🐟

Next door to Central Library and just 10 minutes from campus is the World Museum where you can explore so many exhibitions for free. Did you know there's an aquarium too? You can book a behind the scenes aquarium tour for just £5!
