As part of Sustainable Halls, our year-long programme of events and all things sustainability, we're bringing you monthly actions to help shape your experience in Halls to be just that bit more sustainable.
Having not long moved into halls, October's focuses are Your New Habitat and of course, Black History Month. If you already, read about 3 Black Sustainability Pioneers we're spotlighting this October.
Becoming 'more sustainable' is a big phrase and can mean so many things. While you're living with us in Halls, we're here to help guide you on taking those small steps you can take as a flat or an individual!

Are you passionate about engaging with young people on topics such as Sustainability, Science and Society activity? Why not come along to an introduction session to learn more about the Guild Schools volunteering opportunity?

🚲 Activity
Check out the range of habitats on your new doorstep whether it be through our Crosby Beach litter pick, trip to Burton Mere Wetlands or cycle round the city.

Take the time to learn something new this October
o Learn a new skill! Book onto the Halls Sewing Crash Course on 8th October
o Learn more about the University’s very own botanical garden, Ness Gardens, we’ll be hosting a trip there next month!
