Going catered at Vine Court this year? Save time on washing up and enjoy the benefits of having freshly made food at your doorstep.
How does it work?
Your catered package means that you’ll have £77 per week to spend on food and drink at lots of different outlets across campus (alcohol not included). Every Monday, your balance will reset with £77 credit.
You can pay for your food and drink using the University's Loyalty Plus app or you can swipe your student card at the till. When using the Loyalty Plus app you’ll automatically get a 10% discount off what you purchase as well as other benefits.

Here’s where you can use your allowance on campus:
1. Sydney Jones Café (8.30am-6pm). Sandwiches, paninis, salads, cakes, snacks.
2. Life Sciences Café (8.30am-4pm). Sandwiches, sushi, paninis, pasties, cakes and snacks.
3. Chemistry Café (8am-2.30pm). Sandwiches, paninis, pastries, cakes and snacks.
4. Bertie & Bellas (10.30am-6.30pm). Daily specials, Asian snacks, from the grill, burgers and wings, poke grain bowls.
5. Eleanor Rathbone Café (9am-3.30pm). Sandwiches, paninis, cakes and snacks.
6. Management School Café (8am – 3pm). Breakfast barms, pasties, sandwiches, paninis, salads, cakes.
7. The Courtyard (8am-8pm) weekday, (12pm-8pm) weekend. Selection of breakfasts, burritos, street food, hot specials, jackets, salad bar, sandwiches, cakes, snacks.
8. Frohlick Café and Bar (8.30am-5pm). Sandwiches, toasties, paninis, cakes and snacks.
9. Law & Social Justice Café (8.30am – 3pm) Sandwiches, toasties, paninis, cakes, snacks.
10. The Augustus John (11.30am-11pm) Pizza.
You’ll find hot and cold daily specials with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from across our eateries. We cater for food allergies, intolerances, special diets, and religious diets. You can find all allergen information at the outlets, or you can ask a member of staff.

Loyalty Plus is the University's app where you can pay for your food and drink, check your balance and also benefit from perks such as:
- 10% off all purchases
- Additional 10% off all hot drinks
- 5p credit for every £1 spent
- 9th hot drink free
The more you use your Loyalty Plus app when spending, the more you get back!
Download the app and follow the instructions to activate your account.
The plan is available during term time only (31 weeks) and excludes closure dates:
Christmas Closure, 16th Dec 2024 - 3rd Jan 2025
Easter Closure, 7th-25th April 2025
The Flexi Food Plan end date is 30th May 2025.
The catered plan includes hot and cold daily specials made on campus by chefs daily. These include lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Outlets also cater
for food allergies, intolerances, special and religious diets. Allergen
information is available across all outlets.
Your balance will be linked to your Loyalty Plus App and Student Card. Either show your Loyalty Plus App at the till or swipe your student card.
Any leftover credit will roll over week on week until the end of each term
- 13 December 2024, 4 April 2025 and 30 May 2025. Any remaining credit
on these dates will be lost, so make sure you use it up before those dates.
Don’t worry, if you do overspend one week, your balance will reset every Monday with your next £77 allowance.
You can either pay as you go if you
run out, use your kitchen in your cluster flat, or top up additional money
through the loyalty plus app
