Going catered at Vine Court this year? Save time on washing up and enjoy the benefits of having freshly made food at your doorstep.
How does it work?
The flexi meal plan means that you’ll have £77 per week to spend on food and drink at lots of different outlets across campus (remember, alcohol is not included).
Every Monday, your balance will reset with £77 credit but you can spend more, or less, than this to give you ultimate flexibility.
You can pay for your food and drink using the University's Loyalty Plus app or you can swipe your student card at the till. When using the Loyalty Plus app you’ll automatically get a 10% discount off what you purchase as well as other benefits!
Remaining credit at the end of each term will be lost so be sure to use it up.

You’ll find hot and cold daily specials with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from across our eateries. We cater for food allergies, intolerances, special diets, and religious diets. You can find all allergen information at the outlets, or you can ask a member of staff.

Loyalty Plus is the University's app where you can pay for your food and drink, check your balance and also benefit from perks such as:
- 10% off all purchases
- Additional 10% off all hot drinks
- 5p credit for every £1 spent
- 9th hot drink free
The more you use your Loyalty Plus app when spending, the more you get back!

The plan is available during term time only, meaning that you can use your plan during the below dates:
- 15th September 2025 - 14th December 2025
- 5th January 2026 - 22nd March 2026
- 13th April 2026 - 31st May 2026
During non-term time, your catered plan will not be available to use. However, there are plenty of places to eat and drink near campus - click here and scroll down to 'other places to eat and drink on campus'
The catered plan includes hot and cold daily specials made on campus by chefs daily. These include lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Outlets also cater
for food allergies, intolerances, special and religious diets. Allergen
information is available across all outlets.
Your Loyalty Plus account and Student Card will be linked. You can either show your Loyalty Plus App at the till or swipe your student card.
Check your balance through the Loyalty Plus App. You can also top up your credit via the app.
Remaining credit on your plan will be lost at the end of each term so be sure to use it up before it goes.
If you have remaining credit on 15th December (term 1), 23rd March (term 2) or 1st June (term 3), your balance will go to £0 and will not be rolled over to another term. Credit cannot be refunded.
Any leftover credit will roll over week on week until the end of each term.
Don’t worry, if you do overspend one week, your balance will reset every Monday with your next £77 allowance.
You can either pay as you go if you
run out, use your kitchen in your cluster flat, or top up additional money
through the loyalty plus app

We'd recommend that you avoid buying hot and cold drinks using your credit. Instead, bring a reusable water bottle to fill at a water station on campus. Bring your coffee in your own reusable cup!
