Start your year sustainably in Halls

Get ready for the year ahead with an evening of all things sustainable living in Halls. This month's Sustainable Halls theme is Starting Sustainably, so what better way to launch into the new semester with a social?

When? Thursday 25 September, 6-8pm

Where? Vine Court Mezz

Get together with like-minded people and get a taste for what's to come. Here's what you can expect on Thursday:

• 🌏 Find out what's coming up this year - hear how you can get involved with our trips, quizzes, activities, competitions and masterclasses this year  
• 🧵Get sewing - we'll provide the materials to get you started on your new go-to sewing project. Learning how to sew and repair clothes (or if you're already working on something, bring your own)

• 📢 Coming up: Monthly Sew-cials - Look out for monthly get-togethers to work on learning the basics of sewing, repairing clothes & catching up with friends - the first official Sew-cial is happening on Wed 8th October at 5pm in Philharmonic common room - more info!

• ♻️ Slam dunk the junk - test your recycling knowledge with a fun game of slam dunk the junk!
• 💚 Pick up your first loyalty card stamp - with every Sustainable Halls event you come to, you'll earn another stamp. Enjoy a free Union Brew drink on your 4th stamp and a sustainable kitchen pack on your 8th stamp
• 🍰 Vegan cupcakes & drinks - sit back and chat with other like-minded students
