It's almost time to start thinking about collecting your keys, decorating your bedroom, living with friends and settling into a new area as you prepare for the move out of halls and into your next home.

Moving into a house share with your friends is such an exciting part of university but does bring new things to consider such as inventories, bills, looking after your new home, settling into the community.

This April we're helping you get ready for the transition with Halls to your new Home event.

When? Tuesday 29th April, 6pm

Where? Vine Court Mezz

Find out everything you need to know to about living in the community with a housing talk at 6pm. Ask your housing questions and get to know everything about:

🏑 how to do an inventory

🏑 signing up to a GP, registering to vote

🏑 living in a community

🏑 sustainable living

🏑 bills & budgeting

🏑 finding housemates to live with next year

Grab a donut and chat to our teams for advice on managing money and financial support, housing advice, settling into a new community and living sustainably with the Guild of Students. Connect with other students who might be also looking for housemates or for someone to fill a room.

This event is open to all students living in university and private halls – everyone is welcome!

Make your way to Vine Court and head to the double doors next to Subway that say 'Bertie & Bella's' and head up the stairs. For accessible entrance, use the lift via A block just around the corner - look out for our Residential Advisers in blue hoodies who can help you with directions. 


If you are not a Vine, Melville or Tudor student and want to use the lift in A block. Please go to Vine Court reception who will give you access.
