What to pack
To help you prepare for your Liverpool adventure this summer, here’s a guide to what we’ll provide and what you’ll need to bring…
What’s included in your room:
- Bed
- Wardrobe (with hanging rail and shelving)
- Mirror (inside the wardrobe)
- Desk with drawers
- Desk chair
- Shelves
- Noticeboard
- Waste bin (sanitary bin in bathroom)
- Freeview TV, you’ll need to buy a TV license to watch this (studio only)
- Bedding pack (1 pillow, duvet, pillow case, duvet cover, fitted sheet, towel) *
*Please note, if you are attending a Pre-Sessional English Course, you will be asked to order a bedding pack in advance via UniKitOut. All other students should have bedding packs provided automatically, unless advised otherwise by your programme/course. Use code LIVERPOOL10 at checkout for 10% off your order.
What’s included in your kitchen:
- Oven (some studios have combi microwave ovens in place of an oven and microwave)
- Microwave (see above)
- Hob
- Toaster
- Kettle
- Fridge freezer
- Vacuum cleaner
- Iron/ironing board
- Kitchen and recycling bins
- Table and chairs (studio only)
- Basic kitchen utensils (crockery and cutlery)
Please note that fairy lights or candles are NOT allowed in your
accommodation. Click here for details on what other items are not permitted in
Halls.
What you will need to bring:
- Travel documentation / ID
- Photos/books/decorations to personalise your room
- Travel adaptors (do not overload sockets with lots of adaptors)
- Hairdryer
- Laptop and charger
- Phone charger
- Clothes for warmer and cooler weather such as a waterproof jacket, light clothes that you can wear in layers (click here for information on weather/climate in Liverpool)
- SIM card (please note that WiFi is available in all areas of your accommodation)
What you will need to buy on arrival:
- Coat hangers
- Bathmat
- Toiletries
- Groceries
- Stationary
