Cafés near city campus Halls

92 degrees - Myrtle Street (near Vine Court)

92 degrees is a local coffee shop that promotes local talent and artists. Located just across the road from Vine and Melville, you can pop by either for a change of scenery to study or for a quick coffee break after a day of revision at the Sydney Jones library.   



The Waterhouse Café in Victoria Gallery & Museum (near Crown & Dover) - Uni square

Not been inside the famous red clock tower building yet? Now's your chance! The Waterhouse Café inside of the Victoria Gallery and Museum offers a calm study space with hot drinks and tasty treats to help fuel your next study session. Bring a reusable cup for 25p off your next latte!

Fröhlich Café - Yoko Ono Lennon Centre 

On the ground floor of the new Yoko Ono Lennon Centre you can find the Fröhlich Café which sells delicious coffees and other hot drinks as well as freshly made food. Land Coffee - near Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral 

Definitely one for the coffee lovers to try! If you're looking a relaxed, café space head to Land Coffee in Liverpool Science park just next to campus. 

The Courtyard - Guild of Students

If you're on the go and need that little pick-me-up, a Grumpy Mule coffee from the courtyard is a must! Bring your own reusable cup for 25p off your drink too.

Leaf - Smithdown Road

Just minutes walk from Greenbank, you'll find yourself in Leaf which sells delicious coffees and teas in a super cosy space. If you're in the city centre, check out Leaf on Bold Street. You won't regret it!



Nomad - Smithdown Road

Another great one on Smithdown road, near to the Brookhouse Pub. Nomad is a cosy café and a great place to study or drop by for a revision break!

Bean there coffee shop - near Penny Lane

A local, independent cosy café just off Smithdown road and minutes away from Greenbank! 

Watering Can and Wheelbarrow cafés

Sister cafés in Greenbank park and just off of Greenbank lane. Their hot chocolates are a must, grab one and wander around Greenbank park for some fresh air between study sessions!

Rococco - Lord Street

Rococco offers house coffee and delicious cakes. With lots of different rooms and comfy couches to sit on, you'll be sure to find a cosy corner to study in. 

Café Lucaya - Water Street

Lucaya is the sister café to Rococco but located near the waterfront. Again another great place to study if you're looking for a change of scenery.

Egg Café - just off Bold Street

Egg Café is proud to offer home cooked vegetarian and vegan food as well as well as a selection of cold drinks and hot drinks. A perfect space if you're looking to do some group study!

Thoughtfully Café - Cleveland Square  

Thoughtfully Café sits just on the edge of Liverpool One near to the Albert Dock (perfect for a study break stroll!). On a brighter day you can sit out in the square and enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. Inside you can grab yourself a hot drink, toastie and fuel your next revision session.
