Feel Good February in Halls

The month of February is where we celebrate all things Feel Good! It’s a whole month’s worth of activities and events for you to get stuck into across the University and there’s plenty happening in Halls!

Feel Good February is all about taking steps to improve our wellbeing based on the Six Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give, Be Sustainable. Feel Good Feb Wellbeing Activity Packs

Order an Activity Pack for a bundle of wellbeing and self-care activities for you and your flatmates to enjoy. Bookings open at 4pm on Friday 27th January and are first come, first served. Click here for more.

Global Opportunities Welcome Mixer

Are you a newly arriving Global Opportunities student moving into the Halls? Don’t miss your exclusive Welcome Mixer on Thursday 2nd February in Vine Court Mezzanine, 7-9pm. The perfect way to meet new people and your Residential Advisers over a slice of pizza! Open to students in all Halls and no booking required. We’ll see you there!

Hall Formal Dinners

Your opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy an evening of music and food with your fellow residents is here! Your Hall Formal tickets are live and free to book! Click here for more info on your Hall’s Formal Dinner date and to secure your ticket.

Valentine’s treat bags!

On 14th February you can grab a goodie bag full of delicious treats and sweets from your Hall reception. Click here for more details.

Paint and Sip

It’s time to get creative at our paint and sip event on 15th February. Grab a glass wine or something non-alcoholic, relax and unwind while you paint your very own canvas in Vine Mezz 6-8pm. For details on Paint and Sip, click here.

Housemate Mixer with Liverpool Student Homes

Looking for flatmates to fill a room? Or want to meet new people to live with next year? Come along to the Housing Mixer on 16th February in Harold Wilson room, Guild of Students. If you're taking steps towards finding housing for next year and people to live with, Liverpool Student Homes will be on hand to give a Housing Talk and answer your questions & give advice. 

Halls Exclusive Quiz

Put your general knowledge to the test to be in with a chance of winning big prizes at the Halls Exclusive Quiz! Come alone and join a group or come with friends to the AJ pub on Thursday 23rd February at 7pm.

Tea and Chat

Take 5 and treat yourself to a delicious cake and cup of tea to round of Feel Good February. Head to Vine Court Mezzanine on Wednesday 1st March, 1-3pm.

What is the theme each week?

Week 1 – Welcome back!

This week is all about welcoming you back onto campus and into the semester ahead! There’s so many opportunities open to you in Halls so don’t worry if you missed out on a few things last semester as there’s still plenty going on. Why not meet new people and join your HSC? Go on a trip with Give it a Go? Or get stuck into a Green Guild event. Find out more about opportunities in your Halls community here.

Week 2 – Happy Healthy You!

It’s all about eating well and keeping active during week 2! Check out our many student friendly, easy to make, affordable recipes to keep you healthy while at Uni.

Week 3 – Love Liverpool

It’s all things Liverpool this week! Celebrate your city and new home by taking a look at our Exploring Liverpool recommendations. We’ve got you covered with a Liverpool Bucket List, FREE activities in Liverpool, Green Spaces in the city and so much more!

Week 4 – Sustainability

Head to the Sustainability Fair on Monday 20th February in Mountford Hall, Guild to meet the sustainability team, Green Guild team and SOS-UK, our Halls campaign for more sustainable living!
